Far West Hyundai has once again received Platinum status in the recent Hyundai Awards dinner held earlier this year at the Adelaide Zoo’s Function Centre.

The Gala Awards night was overseen by Hyundai Motor Company President J W Lee and Chief Operating Officer Scott Grant, amongst other high profile members of the fast growing Car juggernaut.

The Platinum Program provides a foundation for every Hyundai Dealership to improve quality, process and standards, with the best in each category rewarded with an annual award.

This year, there were 14 Platinum Status awards handed out across the categories Australia wide. These awards are given to the best dealers within each category of the 167 dealer strong group, with the best dealer been awarded Dealer of the Year. In 2016 Far West Hyundai was crowned Hyundai Dealer of the Year. We managed to back that up in 2017 with another podium finish as the 3rd best dealership In Australia.

Mark and Karen Grundy when asked about the award had the following to say. “We are so very pleased to be awarded the honour for the second year in a row. Out of the four Franchises this program is the most involved and cumbersome to achieve. It has so many moving parts, as it covers and recognises high performance in Sales, parts, customer satisfaction, service and Accounting. It is very pleasing that our staff be recognised for the great job they do on a National Stage all the way from Broken Hill.”

In addition to the Platinum status recognition of Far West Hyundai, the dealership was also recognised as the destination for the Best Customer Satisfaction/Service or (CSI)  within all Hyundai Service Departments nationally. Being a cornerstone element of the business, Mark Grundy was delighted with the result

“The Service department is the backbone of any successful dealership, it provides the business with the opportunity to retain customers and grow your car park. The sales department may sell you the first car to a customer but your service department will sell you the next 5. This is achieved through uncompromised customer service which has been a key fundamental in my business structure. I am very pleased to have my staff recognised on a national level to receive such an honour”.

Todd Collie was also recognised on the night as Regional and National Sales Manager of the Year honours for the second year in a row. He also added Regional Stock Controller of the Year later in the night.

Mark and Karen Grundy would like to thank all of their customers and Broken Hill for their ongoing support, the dealership now has 30 locally employed people across all departments and is now enjoying its time in the spotlight for a lot of hard work and dedication to providing a great customer experience.
